JoJo Americo is a painter, musician, cordwainer, sometimes model, former creative director for New York institution Patricia Field, and performance artist from New York. Obsessed with the detritus of a particularly camp expression of the macabre, he is a bit like Barnabas Collins in drag. Americo and his band, The Ones (whose hit Flawless (just like perfection) was #7 on the British pop charts) are about to release their new CD, Dancing in Daylight, this fall.
