Free Blood
Brooklyn based Free Blood was born in the scorching summer of 2003 when former !!! (chk chk chk) member John Pugh and fashion designer Madeline Davy crossed paths. They discovered they shared a universal goal - to bring together the contradictory scenes that host New York's dance and indie music. They embarked on their pursuit to marry the idealized Manhattan club scene and the eclectic, "anything-goes" Brooklyn warehouse party scene. Both of them have never looked back. They have recently finished touring America with Hot Chip and even had the time to cross the Atlantic a couple times to play in the UK. The band's debut album, "The Singles" (released November 4th on Rong/DFA Records) features a combination of the band's previously released singles and new remixes. The album is produced by Brooklyn duo, The Brothers (!!!,Professor Murder, Telepathe) and is guaranteed to be a must-have record this autumn.
